Whale Rock in the Time of Covid-19

Dear Friends,

I hope this note finds you and yours healthy and safe. 

In the past five months, Whale Rock Workshops, like so many other businesses that provide in-person services, has had to pivot and adjust.

As some of you know, our Concord Workshop was held online the first week of June. Green Gables with Gary Schmidt is postponed to 2021 (details to come), and I have just made the difficult decision to postpone our Master Picture Book Workshop in November as well. We will open registration for next year’s Master Skills Workshop with Patti Gauch and Gary Schmidt in September, but we will not know whether we will be able to come together in person until closer to the date.

I’m grateful we live in a time where technology makes it possible for us to come together in other ways. I’m launching an exciting mentorship program this fall, and I’m working on a winter speaker series.

My brain is whirling, imagining all the many ways I can continue to offer you high-quality, deep-learning with master teachers. Stay tuned!
